The Jay Leno Show
It is not quite the same. I was wanting to watch the new Leno show and after watching the one with Michael Moore it just seemed like two old men talking. The show isn’t as spunky as the Tonight Show. It almost feels like The View with one male host.
I love Leno, I think he is a funny guy and I used to watch the Tonight Show a lot. Jay Leno in his new show seems to have aged and mellowed out. It is the Florida of talk shows – where old people hang out and play bingo and talk politics.
The music with Kevin Eubanks is still kick butt however it seems like a blunt version of what he used to do in the Tonight Show. Maybe I chose the wrong day to tune in when the guest was Michael Moore – who doesn’t do much to light up the screen. Having said that I will probably watch it a few more times to see how it goes but my initial reaction was – bland.
As much as I would love to see Leno’s show do well, I have a feeling that it won’t last too long, at least in its current format.

A little off topic, are u the same conrad on Sitepoint? if that’s true than wow, dunno if u remember me (ckita), hevent been on SP in a long time.
