Thinking outside the box business.
Crazy friday! We are moving tomorrow and this morning I went to the box store to buy some boxes. I could NOT believe that a cardboard box about 2×2 feet and about 2 feet deep was $2.50! An empty box costs $2.50!
So after the initial shock, I asked the lady if I could return them and she said no, okay, so what if they are in good condition and I sold them back to you for a buck each. She said no. I do not understand the box business! Are we supposed to buy boxes worth 30 bucks and use them for a day and then all you are left is with no room to store these boxes that cost you 30 bucks. You have to throw them away!
Looks like a lucrative business is lurking somewhere in the box rental world. So if anyone wants to buy 10 good boxes for 10.00 or rent it for 50 cents a piece, let me know!
Conman!
I finally get some news! Albiet on your website. Next time you move. Go to a B&N or Borders and look behind the store. They usually throw a lot of the boxes away! Neat and clean cause these trashcans only have cardboard boxes from book shipments! You have to be a cheap college student on scholarships to figure this out! You should be business school student, they should think about the business opportunity in recycling cardboard boxes.
Hope things are going well for you guys.
